Get in Touch

Please submit your questions, comments or requests by completing the following form. Just saying "hello" is also a valid option. The Antarctic Station team will see to it that you receive a prompt response.

Scientists

Scientists are now the main users of the Princess Elisabeth Station. All scientific projects have to be submitted to their national authorities and to the Belgian Polar Secretariat. This secretariat will check the availability of the infrastructures, establish priorities between projects if timeframes are overlapping and ensure that scientists can run their project in the best possible conditions.

Press

If you are a member of the press wanting to write an article, shoot a movie, include the Princess Elisabeth Station in a book or a publication, please get in touch with the International Polar Foundation's press officer.

Volunteers

We get a lot of emails from people wanting to go to Antarctica and to work in or around the station, which shows that the public is enthusiastic about the project.

The construction phase of the station is over. Our demand for technical staff is minimal and we usually rely on the pool of people that have built the station and on their knowledge.

Sending people to Antarctica is very expensive. If you have a project revolving around the Princess Elisabeth Station, please send us a full project dossier (planning, budgets, measurable objectives, etc.). Your project will be examined and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
