All the Way to Antarctica!

The 19-member team has arrived in Antarctica!
From Cape Town, they boarded a cargo plane, ready to take off for the Antarctic continent. Inside the DC3, the first five crew members and essential supplies were transported to the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica Station via a small, snow-covered airstrip.

Upon arrival, the team safely unloaded all their equipment, and the DC3 returned to fetch the remaining 14 members. With the full crew finally on site, the BELARE 2025–26 season officially began, marking the start of another exciting Antarctic summer at the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica Station.
