Crevasse Safety Training in Antarctica
As part of the mandatory safety training, new team members and scientists take part in crevasse rescue exercises. Led by expedition leader and mountain guide Alain Hubert, the training teaches essential techniques to safely enter, navigate, and exit crevasses - while offering a rare glimpse into one of Antarctica’s most striking natural features.
