Leveling Up
Raising and leveling the station’s annexes is a key task each season as the glacier beneath moves steadily toward the coast. Using newly tested hydraulic jack systems, the team can lift the structures with millimeter precision. This unique technique keeps the station stable and adaptable on the constantly shifting ice.
