Prepare the Station for the BELARE Season 24/25
The new Antarctic season has officially begun!
The first 12 members of the BELARE 2024–2025 team have arrived on the continent, landing at Ultima Air Base before continuing their journey on a feeder flight to the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica Station, located 400 km away.
Upon arrival, the team found the Princess Elisabeth Station still covered in snow accumulated during the long Antarctic winter. Their first task: clearing the station and preparing it for the months of scientific work and logistical operations ahead.
Welcome back to Antarctica! ❄️
