Water recycling and distribution inside the station
Water distribution at the Station is managed very carefully. It is distributed and managed frugally, and it is also reused after treatment. 100% of used water is recycled at the station, 75% of which is after each treatment reused for showers, toilets and washing machines.

Anaerobic bioreactor: This is where black water is treated. An anaerobic microorganism digestion process breaks down large molecules of waste into smaller ones.

-
Tangential filtration unit: Filters the water after anaerobic treatment and produces a filtrate solution.

Carbon filter unit: This module eliminates all residues of organic compounds and corrects the water's colour after the aerobic bioreactor has removed remaining solids and organic compounds.

Water distribution pump: Under the main building's roof, this pump introduces melt water into the plumbing system.

Chlorinisation and ultraviolet treatment units: The water's pH-level is corrected either by adding an acid or base. A final ultraviolet treatment allows the purity of the water inside the reservoir to be maintained.
